Jazz Blues Turnarounds Masterclass

This masterclass introduces the turnaround, a sequence of four chords particularly common in many kinds of jazz, blues, folk, pop and funk music.

Throughout the detailed PDF booklet, Denny will teach you all of the knowledge, scales, and playing tips required to cover the awesome material in his licks and solos. Even if you've never heard of a turnaround before, you will have definitely heard them in the music you listen to and this masterclass will show you how to play with and over them!

You’ll learn both what a turnaround is and how you can identify a turnaround on your own. After which, Denny will help you work through 3 of the more common turnarounds using creative ideas that you can implement right away! Mastering this will prevent you from needing to fumble your way through turnarounds in the future!

For the ‘meat and potatoes’ part of this course you will get 3 full length jam tracks each with different progressions, in different keys and each focussing on different aspects of the turnaround. One will be a 1-6-2-5 turnaround, another will be a 2-5-3-6 and also a 2-5-1-6 turnaround. 

Each of the three tracks is broken down into 4 bar chunks which come with 15 expressive and highly usable licks. You’ll also get a full length solo filled to the brim with creative new ideas that you can add to your turnaround trick bag! 

Of course as always, everything in the pack comes with video and audio for you to study, TAB and notation for each playing example and backing tracks for learning, practising and jamming through once you’ve mastered the turnarounds!
