Martin will start you off by introducing you to his CAGED approach for visualising the fretboard. He explains all the shapes needed, explaining how they are found and how they link together. This is where the roadmap to fretboard freedom begins and lays the foundation for the whole course.

From minor versions of the CAGED shapes, to taking the CAGED system through changes, interval mind maps, single string exercises, talks on 3NPS and note recognition too. It's all in there to help you build a solid foundation.

Next up comes Martin's methods for learning and applying triads in multiple positions, covering different chords. You'll learn about the application of the triads with common tonalities including chords and triad inversions. Martin also gives you several licks to learn and master once you've got the theory down, which will help you take the practice room lessons to the stage!
